About The 25th Annual Taste Of Collier
Join in an afternoon of fabulous food and family fun at Bayfront, in downtown Naples! The Taste is open from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, children 5 and under are free. 3 oz tasting portions $3 - $5. Event has raised over $600,000.
 History
Twenty- five years ago, a few local members of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association decided to host an event that would express gratitude for the year round residents that patronize the local restaurants. The first event was very well received and the Taste of Collier Board members decided for the second year event they would partner with a local non-profit organization and donate a portion of funds raised, thus giving even more back to the Collier Community.
 Twenty-five years later, many local charities have shared in over $600,000 raised during the Taste of Collier events. These non-profit organizations include Collier County Chapter of the American Red Cross, MS Home, READ of Southwest Florida, POLO Club, ROTC, Naples Alliance for Children, National alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), PACE Center of Immokalee, Catholic Charities and Mental Health Association.
The Taste of Collier event also has given the Restaurant Association an avenue to sponsor the arts, here in Collier County. Local artists, professional and high school art students provide the Taste of Collier artwork found on each year's posters and tee shirts. Each Fall the local high school art departments are given the opportunity to compete for the first place honor.
The First Place art is then used for that year's event. The winner, along with community exposure (last years event brought 13,000 people)

Taste of Collier also contributes to local culinary programs, Pro Start Programs, and culinary scholarships. As well as sponsoring individuals for State and National competitions.
